Stacey Lynette Redden-Ditzler

April 15, 1969 ~ May 30, 2023

Stacey was born April 15th, 1969, at the Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She passed away on Monday, May 29th, 2023, at the Ochsner Medical Center. Having lived most of her life in Louisiana, she primarily worked as an insurance agent but volunteered often to help anyone in need. Her greatest loves in life were her family, her husband of 23 years, her children, her morning coffee and doing anything except watching the movies she picked out. Stacey had a caring soul and was willing to treat a total stranger as if they were family as she’d known them her whole life. She was always accepting others for who they were and was ready to drop whatever she was doing at a moment’s notice if someone needed her. Some of her hobbies included interior design, crafts, raising dogs and going out of her way to make others feel loved. She pursued a college education at Kaplan University.  Stacey is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Leonard and Grace Redden, maternal grandparents William and Georgia Wall. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Keith Douglas Ditzler; her sons Brandon Keith Ditzler, Justin Cody Abbott, and Tristan Micheal Chelette. Her daughter Emily Jean Ditzler; her parents, Jo Ann Wall Moorman and Robert Redden, her stepfather Ernie Moorman. Her brother Robert “Bobby” Redden; her aunt, Joyce Wheat, and uncle, Roger Wheat; as well as several people whom she considered to be her family. She was one of the most caring, loving, forgiving and kind-hearted people to grace the earth. She was the best mother, the best wife and the best friend to anyone who needed it. Funeral services for Stacey will be held from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. on Monday, June 5th, 2023, at the Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA, with Sue Long and Chris Redden officiating. Pallbearers for the service are Brandon Ditzler, Ryan Abbott, Justin Abbott, Tristan Chelette, Noah Holly, and Michael Trapen, with L.J. Bankston as Honorary Pallbearer. Burial followed at the Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. Please sign the online guestbook at
