James Magee, Sr.

James Carroll Magee, Sr. born in Baton Rouge and a resident of Springfield passed away June 5, 2023 at the age of 77. James loved spending his time boating and fishing, but what he enjoyed most was spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his former wife Margaret Bennett, his children James Magee, Jr. (Mary Beth Magee), Bruce A Magee (Samantha Magee), Bridget Ellis (Chris Ellis), his grandchildren Makayla, Maggie, Colby, Sophie, Megan, Colton, Charlee, Caden, Great grandchildren Braxton, Brady and Brynleigh, his brother Kenneth Magee. He is preceded in death by his parents Bruce Allen Magee and Beverly Mae Magee. There will be a private ceremony at a later date. The family would like to give a special thanks to Clint Cheveallier.
