Jay Dufour, a resident of Pine Grove, Louisiana for 22 years, retired owner of Retrievers Dufour , died June 8, 2023 at 9:50 pm. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, sibling, uncle and friend. He was an Army Veteran. Jay was at his best when he was hunting, fishing, skydiving, cooking and much more. He is survived by his wife Jami Dufour of 28 years, brother Paulo and Jo Ellen Dufour, sister Stephanie and Vaughn Dodge, children Jay P and Nicole Dufour, Jacques and Gabrielle Dufour, Shelby Dufour, stepchildren Erich Bridges and Jessica Bridges, grandson Paul A Dufour Preceded in death by his parents Paul A and Rita J McCue Dufour, sister Julia Coyle Dufour Richardson.
Memorial will be held on Thursday, June 15 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, La, at 11:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 11 a.m.

I didn’t need to know him to know that he was truly loved. What more can we ask for in life. Deepest sympathy to Jacques and all his family.
