Ora Altazin Annison

Our beautiful loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, aunt and friend went to her eternal home on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was 95 years old, born November 16, 1927, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Denham Springs. Ora was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Jones Annison for 63 years. She was a devout Catholic and member of the Immaculate Conception Church, where she was involved in many ministries through the years. She was a housewife, substitute teacher, incredible cook, spiritual leader and anchor of our family. Ora is survived by her children, Gail Corbin (Robert), Linda Lawrence (Paul), Susan Baker and Thomas Wayne Annison (Shannon); grandchildren, Shannon Baker, Cherie Jenkins (Reggie III), Robert Corbin II (Casey), Kenneth Lawrence, Christian Lawrence (Tenace), Hunter and Layne Breaux; great grandchildren, Justin Baker (Ashley), Lance Baker (Jill), Vincent and Dominic LoGuidice, Trevor, Gillian and Abigail Jenkins, Alex Borg, Dylan Peyton Corbin, Sam, Natalie and Ashley Lawrence, Hayden, Scarlet and Aspen Breaux; great great-grandchildren, Lana and Jade Baker and J.J. Baker, Jr. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas Jones Annison;daughter, Joan Marie Annison; father, Louis Altazin, Jr.; mother, Ora Bayhi Altazin and her brother, Louis Altazin, III. Pall bearers are the great grandchildren, Honorary pall bearers are Daniel Annison, Ben Annison, Robert Corbin, Paul Lawrence, Jimmy Summers and John Anderson. Our thanks to family and friends, Mason de Fleur and the Carpenter House for the love and support and care given. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Denham Springs Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11;30 am. Father Jeff Bahyi will Officiate. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at
