Born Linda Marie Wilson on June 9, 1943 in Parkdale, AR, Linda lived most of her life in St. Charles Parish, LA; where she married Bobby Dufrene in 1958. Linda was most recently a resident of Hammond, LA. Throughout her life, she enjoyed hobbies that included sewing, cosmetology, and a little gardening. She loved to go camping and on vacations with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bobby Dufrene; children Sherri White, Sidney Dufrene (Karen); grandchildren Renetta Breaux Deroche (Denny), Kristin White-Champagne (Seth), Tyler Dufrene, Tessa Dufrene, Thaleia Dufrene, Jordan Gros (Zachary) and Harlan Gaudet; great grandchildren Taylor Bourgeois (Antoinne), Evan Deroche (Caroline), Luke Deroche, and Heaven, Grace and Faith Gros.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Lois and Jeffy Wilson; her siblings Joe Wilson, Tommy Wilson and Naomi Wilson; her daughter Charlotte Dufrene Danos, and two of her beloved grandchildren Lauren Zehr and Dylan White.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Linda was a longtime advocate for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations can be made in her memory at the following link: www.cff.org/donate
