A loving father, son, grandson, uncle, brother, cousin and friend went to his eternal home on Sunday, July 16, 2023. He was 44 years old. Jason was a sheet metal worker by trade and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son, Christian Dean Cotten; stepson, Marcus Owens O’Brien; mother, Cindy Nielsen and partner, Mike Bourque; father, Terry Cotten; three brothers, Jon Farr, Chris Cotten and partner Kelly Doucet, Will Nielsen; maternal grandmother and step grandfather, JoAnn Spillman Oubre and Husband A.J.; numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A gathering will be held at Seale Funeral Home, in Denham Springs, on Thursday July 20, 2023 from 5pm until Celebration of Life Service at 7pm, conducted by Rev. Tim Norris.
