Edith passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2023 surrounded by her family and left behind her walker and her ailing earthly body and took the hands of Jesus and walked through the Pearly Gates of Heaven. She was 86 and was a resident of Denham Springs. Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Denham Springs on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM conducted by Pastor Max Landry. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park in Denham Springs. She is survived by her daughter Connie Taylor and husband Buck; son, Ronnie Foster and wife Susan; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Billy Foster; son, Daryl Foster; parents, Henry and Ollie Perkins; sister, Ruby McMorris and a brother, Edward Perkins. A special thank you to Hospice In His Care for the love and support they gave mama. Her eyes would light up when her care team came as she loved them all. Extended thanks to her granddaughter Emily Grantham and niece Detra Lawdermilt for the help and support. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating Bibles in memory of mom through the Gideons. Connie I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed a lot. I am sorry I will not be able to make the service, because I can’t do two services this close together,but know we LOVE YOU.

She will be truly missed by all. She was another maw maw for everyone on the street. I remember her telling me I was a beautiful bride I told her nah your prettier and she blushed. She is now her Billy Ray. We all love you all and will pray for you.
