James, “D.J.” Ard

A loving son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend went to his eternal home on, Tuesday, July 18, 2023. He was 22 years old. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his father and step mother, Jimmy Ard and Janice Meadors; brother, Dale Roberson, Jr.; three aunts, Cindy Meaux and husband Julian, Deanna Thomassie and husband Richie, Amanda Lyann Ard; two uncles, Sidney Wayne Ard, Sidney Russell Ard and fiancé Emily Guidry; paternal grandparents, Sidney Raymond Ard and Judy Graphia; stepfather, Dale Roberson, Sr.; his beloved dog Tito and numerous cousins, many friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A gathering to celebrate D.J.’s life will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2pm until 5pm. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bambi Lynn Watson; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Sondra Baio Watson; aunt, Tina Matherne. Special thanks to aunt Cindy for being supportive and Lance, RMI Custom Iron and, George Ellis, Raymond Blount and Troy Jones, Ellis Electric and M&S Electric, his employers who treated him like family.
