Pamela Tate, 70, resident of Pine Grove, LA, passed away on July 19 from her battle with cancer. A native of Walker, she was born on February 26, 1953 to Harlin Blount, Sr. and Evelyn Blount. She graduated from Walker High School, Class of 1972.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Russell Tate, Sr. She is survived by her two sons Russell Tate, Jr. and Sherman Tate, her daughter-in-law Sarah Tate, her grand-daughters Cassandra and Sofia, her sisters Renee McKee and Susan Nation and her brother Harlin Blount, Jr.
Pamela was devoted to her husband, to her kids, to her parents, and to all who depended on her. She always stayed busy, both indoors and outdoors. Everything she did, she did for her family. The best word to describe her would be selfless.
The funeral for Pamela Tate will be held Tuesday, July 25th at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA. Visitation will start at 9:00 AM and main service will be at 11:00 am. Internment will be held at Walker Baptist Church Cemetery.

You were a wonderful sister. We often talked about our Lord and how we both were looking forward to heaven. Well you are with Jesus now. And that helps the pain of my grieving. Love you Pam.
