Myron “Wayne” Green born on January 26, 1942, and passed away on August 1, 2023. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Friday, August 4, 2023 beginning at 10:00am. Rev. Elvin Norsworthy will conduct funeral services at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jon Calvin and Myrtle Mattie Green, his bride Mary Green; brothers, Gerald and John Green and sister Dorothy Green. He is survived by Darren (Sharon) Green, Tony (Becky) Green, John Green, Todd Green, Sam (Mimi) Zimm, and Mary Ann Tyrelo; grandchildren, Chelsea (Frank) Cangelosi, Kodie Green, Blaze Gasquet, Darren (Brandi) Green; Ka’Lyn, Aaron Brashier, Dalton; Megan Duay, Dylan Green, Paige; Brandon Starns, Brooke Green, Haley Zimm, Zach Zimm, Caison Thibodeaux and Connor Thibodeaux., eighteen great grandchildren, and his dear friend Gay Carroll. Pallbearers will be; Frankie, Dalton, Zach, Connor, Sam, Caison, and Darren. Wayne always had a joke and the patience of Job. He was a prankster, storyteller and had an infectious personality. We are so so sorry to hear of Mr Greens passing. He was always such a pleasure to talk too. Sorry I didn’t hear of the service so didn’t go. Till we meet again

I worked with Wayne for many years while at the Louisiana National Bank. He was a very knowledgeable Facility Manager. He had a keen sense of country humor that entertained those working with him.
