Ronald “Keith” Dixon

June 15, 1960 – August 8, 2023

Ronald “Keith” Dixon, a lifelong resident of Livingston, passed away with family by his side on Tuesday, August 8 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. He was 63. Keith was born on June 15, 1960, in Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of French Settlement High School and worked in various positions at the Honeywell chemical plant in Geismar for 43 years.

Keith was a wonderful son, husband, father, and grandfather. His greatest joys were spending time with his family and venturing into Sportsman’s Paradise on a fishing or hunting trip. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Livingston.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Vesta Melinda “Mindy” Dixon; sons Austin Keith Dixon, Corey Tyler Dixon and wife Erin; daughter Anna Dixon Duvall and husband Derek; grandsons Dane Paul Duvall and Tyler Michael Dixon; and his father, Warden Conrad “Jimmy” Dixon. He is preceded in death by his mother Hazel Lea Dixon.

Services will be held Saturday, August 12 at FBC Livingston, located at 29401 South Frost Road in Livingston. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gateway Gardens Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Corey Dixon, Johnny Bert Dixon, Derek Duvall, Michael McMorris, Will Watts, David Carpenter, Kendall Hill, Chuck Sanchez, and Sam Oliver. Honorary pallbearers will be Dane Duvall, Tyler Dixon, and Steve Stevens. Condolences may be offered at
