Tamra Maureen McCleary

Tamra Maureen McCleary, a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, was born on August 16, 1960. After a lengthy illness, she passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 62. Tammy was full of energy, love and pure innocence. Tammy is preceded in transition by her father, Aubrey McCleary, Jr., her grand-parents Mary Kathryn and Aubrey McCleary, Sr. and S.R. and Pat Watts and her lifelong caretaker and friend, Miss Alma Johson Renter. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Watts McCleary, her siblings Connie McCleary Svestka, Michael (Jodi), Patrick and Kevin (Christine) McCleary, her nieces and nephews Jared Svestka, Gracie McCleary Simoneaux (Gage), Mary Kathryn, Kyle, Cameron and Matthew McCleary and great nephew Elijah Svestka. Tammy’s life will be celebrated on Friday, August 25^th, 2023 at Broadmoor United Methodist Church, 10230 Mollylea Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70815 with visitation at 10 AM and service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Tammy’s name to Broadmoor United Methodist Church () or to the organization of your choice.
