Rickey Leroy Travis, 72, of Clinton, Louisiana, passed away on August 21, 2023.

Rickey was born on August 18, 1951 to Leroy and Evelyn Travis in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rickey graduated from Glen Oaks High School in 1969.

In 1974 Rickey married his former wife, Pamela “Pam” Hennesy Travis in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Rickey and Pam went on to have three children, April, Lori and Justin.

Rickey enjoyed his years of truck driving across the country and his woodworking building furniture, art and other things from wood.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Evelyn Travis; sister, Dinah Faye Travis; and sister-in-law Sue Nell Travis. He is survived by his daughter, April McKean and husband Billy; daughter, Lori Seal; son Justin Travis and wife Malayne; former wife, Pam Travis; six grandchildren, Hayleigh McKean, Destinee Wills, Triston Licciardi, Brooklyn Kritzman, Carlynn Travis, and Claire Travis; brother Dickey Travis and wife Cindy; and two nephews J.D. Travis and Stephen Peairs and wife Melinda.

Services will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana on Monday, August 28, 2023 with visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm followed by service and then burial at Chambers Cemetery.
