Charles Kerry Corbitt

Charles “Kerry” Corbitt went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023. He was born to Gladys Babers Corbitt and Charles William Corbitt on January 15, 1957. He graduated from Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, LA. He spent his career in both law enforcement and construction. Kerry was a great son, brother, and a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. Kerry had a love for dogs, sailing, flying and scuba diving, amongst many other things. Kerry is survived by his parents; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda Corbitt Watson (Gil) and Melinda Corbitt Rogillio (Ricky); nieces and nephews, Amanda Cooper (Jason), Kristen Rogillio, Ricky Rogillio, Jr., and Michael Rogillio (Berkeley); several great nieces and nephews; and his German Shepherd, Jazz. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers Shirley Babers and Evie Hood. Pallbearers will be Ricky Rogillio, Sr., Ricky Rogillio, Jr., Michael Rogillio, Jason Cooper, Gavin Cooper, and Don Edleston. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with graveside service immediately following.
