Ross David Walker passed away peacefully while surrounded by family at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. In just 3 short days, Ross would have been 44 years old. Ross, a beloved son, brother, and uncle was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Louis Walker; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Betty Delvisco; paternal grandparents, Lucius and Lela Walker; Uncle, Ronnie Delvisco; Aunt, Debra Cutrer; Aunt, Mary Walker; and 2 cousins, Jason Coco and Randy Brown. He is survived by his parents, Ann Delvisco and Norman Walker; his brothers, Sherman Marvin Walker and Landon Shane Walker, all residents of Baker, Louisiana. Other family members left in his absence are 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 2 great nieces and a great nephew. Ross and his twin brother Gene, natives of Baker, Louisiana joined us on this earth on August 26, 1979. His family later moved to the Shreveport area where they spent 10 years before returning to his hometown of Baton Rouge. Throughout his life, regardless of what he was facing, Ross maintained a devout faith in God, his Saviour. The family has decided there will not be a wake, nor will there be any funeral services. However; we would like you to join us for a Memorial Service in memory of Ross to be held at Lockhart Road Baptist Church, 8327 Lockhart Rd, Denham Springs, LA 70726 on Saturday, September 16, 2023.The family will receive friends from 11:00am until memorial service at 1:00pm.
