Manfred Ungaro “Gene” passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 81 due to complications of his fourth stroke. He was born in Pensacola, FL on January 16, 1942 and was a resident of Denham Springs. He was a former resident of Baton Rouge and was raised by He joined the U.S. Army on March 9, 1959 and served three years, one month and five days active duty. He was active in Bail Bonds in Livingston and East Baton Rouge Parishes, and retired from A-Ungaro Bail Bonds. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Sunday, September 24, 2023 beginning at 10:00am until services at 12:00pm. He is survived by his children, Theresa Marie, Gina Lizana, Mancusi-Ungaro, Jenny Mancusi-Ungaro, Hazel Mancusi-Ungaro, Jody Shaw, and Joshua Mancusi-Ungaro; his grandchildren Dominic, Kayleigh, Raleigh, Izzy Bella, Samiee Jo, Adieelynn, Chase, Emily, Rikki, Peter, Patience, Lillie, Armani and Josiah. He is also survived his brothers and sisters Lonnie, Angie, Forchie, Linda Gale and Westly. He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise, grandchild Russell Mianna, mother Hazel Stockstill, father Manfred M Ungaro and the man who raised him, and Bill Irwin, and brothers and sisters, Guy, Donnie and Debbie. His hobbies included his love for guns, remodeling and rebuilding cars, motorcycle riding, playing the guitar and singing. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
