Brenda Boudreaux Melancon, 78, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023. Brenda loved to bake and was well known for it, as she was featured in Home and Garden Magazine and in Taste of Living, which she also worked as the editor. She received numerous awards for her baking and enjoyed to share her baked goods with those she loved. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by many. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 25, at 2:30 p.m., at Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Lurry Jepko (James), and Jenny Melancon Dupuy (Blane); stepdaughter, Adair Melancon Young; grandchildren, Aden, Abel, Isla, Elia, Brittany, Rusty, Timothy, and Brandon; nieces and nephews, Angela Babin (Timmy) and Brian and Barry Boudreaux; and her loving dog, Zeph Melancon. Rest in peace Brenda. You are up in Heaven with the Good Lord, and you are back together with Michael.
