Edward F. May “Ed”

Edward Farryell May went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was 83. He died at home surrounded by those he loved. A native of Doyle, La., he was a longtime resident of Denham Springs, and the devoted husband of Linda Fugler May for 61 loving years. He was a member of New Covenant Church, Denham Springs. Retired from Ethyl Corp. and Hall-Buck Marine, Ed was an avid fisherman, Colorado hunter, musician, and gifted artist, but his greatest loves were his children, Candace May Thibodeaux (Jason) and F. Bryan May (Margot).
Ed is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren Dr. Brady Milanes (Ricki), Caroline Milanes, Jackson, Berkley, and Tucker May, sister Betty May Rosenson (Ronnie), sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Edward L. and Eleanor Lard May, sister Virginia “Ginger” May Duncan, nephews Paul Jones and Yancy Watkins, and parents-in-law B. F. and Annie Miller Fugler. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Monday 5-8 pm, and Tuesday 1-3 pm, with service at 3 pm. Led by Rev.
