Betty Lou Johnston Reid

Betty Lou Johnston Reid, born August 31, 1942, in Anderson County, Texas to William Morris and Bertie Lue Cameron Johnston. She was known as “Boo” to her Johnston family. She was loved by many. She loved animals and going to the Senior Center in Livingston Parish where she enjoyed playing bingo and socializing. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.D. Reid and stepdaughter Donna Mae Reid Estess; her parents; and brothers Bobby Ray Johnston, Thomas William Johnston, James Edward Johnston, and Billy Morris Johnston; and a sister Annie Belle Johnston.  She is survived by sons Billy Daniel Reid, Keith Edward Reid, and Robert Shane Reid (Todd Pearce), brothers Charles David Johnston (Karen) and Barney Johnston (Dionne); Sisters Mary Hall, Francis Eaton, Glenda Ballard, Brenda Sue Richardson (Steve); sisters-in-law Gaye Lynn Johnston, Patricia Johnston, Wanda Johnston, and Brenda Ann Johnston; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friend Sheila Moore.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, from 8:30 a.m. until the celebration of her life at 10:30 a.m.
