Carl, age 57, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, following a prolonged illness.
Carl loved fishing, cooking, camping, canoeing, and enjoying time with friends and family. His greatest dream was to go kayaking with his brother, Clyde, and catch rainbow trout.
Carl was a machinist, a field introduced to him by his brother-in-law, Vincent Guillera. Although Carl often worked long hours, he always made time to enjoy life. Whether it was cooking, playing pool, playing washers, or just hanging out shooting the breeze, Carl was there.
Carl was a generous, kind and loving man always ready to pass on life lessons to the young people around him. Carl was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to know him, and he impacted more lives than he ever knew. Carl left this world a better place.
Carl will be profoundly missed and always remembered by his wife of 28 years, Lyn Deville, his sister, Bonnie Breaux, his sister-in-law, Mable Breaux, along with extended family Helen and Dalton Mann, Jackie and Bryan Carpenter, Jeff Mann, Lauren and Taylor Fetters, Kelley and Bobby Riles, Sharon Guillera, and a host of other family members.
Carl was preceded in death by brothers, Clyde Breaux and John Deville, father, Joseph Deville and mother, Kathy Bihm Breaux (Carl Dewey Breaux).
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs at 5:30pm. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until the time of service.
