It is with the heaviest of hearts and grief that we say goodbye to our much loved Carol Gremillion. She gained her angel wings at the age of 67 on Saturday, September 30, 2023. We rejoice that she is now at peace and in Heaven with the Lord. To know her was to love her. She was the best wife, mother, mom, sister, ‘MawMaw Carol’ and ‘Momma Carol’ to have ever lived. Her zest for life, kindness and compassion were unparalleled. She had a way about her that made everyone comfortable no matter the circumstances. Her favorite motto was “Believe!”, and she always did just that. She was a passionate LSU and Saints fan. She would ‘make’ LSU win with numerous wardrobe changes during the games including hats, t-shirts, pants, flags, etc.
Survivors include her husband Rick; children, Hank Fontenot (Jordan); Luke (Joni) Fontenot and their children, Jack, Owen and Emily. Stepsons Blake Gremillion (Stephanie) and his children, Sara, Hayden and Payton; Grant Gremillion and his children Camryn, Grace and Reid. Also surviving her are sisters Brenda Fincher (John) and Billie Lamparter (Richard) and brother Doug Craft and best friend for 40+ years, Ann Lee.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Nov. 10th from 11am until 1pm at Seale Funeral Home, 1720 S. Range Ave, Denham Springs, LA.
