Julia Ann Welch

Julia Ann Welch, age 90, a native of Mendenhall, Mississippi and resident of Denham Springs, Louisiana, joined her loving husband in heaven on Friday, October 20, 2023 at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. The people that loved her most will remember her for her quick wit. She was a lover of knitting, gardening and attending church.

She will forever be remembered by her 4 siblings Billie Smith, Darrell Smith, Danny Smith and Sammy Smith, 4 children, Michael B. Welch, Tammie R. Welch, Ronnie D. Welch and his wife Lisa, and Tony A. Welch and his wife Dawn; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dwight and Mary Nell Smith, her loving husband Freddie H. Welch, 2 sisters Dell and Marcielene, her son Freddie D. Welch and grandchild Michael J. Welch.

Pallbearers will be Doc Welch, Donnie Graves, Ryan Welch, Jason Welch, Dwight Welch, Jessica Welch and Skyler Pedigo.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Clarity Hospice, Nurses Wendy and Nurse Michelle.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 12:00 pm until service at 3:00 pm conducted by Brother Joshua Irvine. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
