Jimmy Ray Hood, a resident of Grenada Mississippi went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 28th at the age of 73. Visitaon will be held at Seale Funereal Home, Denham Springs on Thursday November 2nd from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation on on Friday will resume at 10:00am. Pastor David Boone will conduct funeral services at 12:00pm. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. He is survived by his daughter Cherri Thomas and husband James Eric Thomas, and stepson Carl Boyle, and grandchildren, Mia, and Cami. He is preceded in death by his wife Tessie Hood, and his parents Jim Malcom and Jimmie Lou Hood, and stepson Craig Boyle. The pallbearers will be Kenneth Blaylock (Bubba), Lynn Blaylock, Chris Blaylock, Earnest Smith (Buddy) Brian Courter. Reserves pallbearers will be Charles Snell and Mike Oglsbey.
