Our loving mother, Lelia Kaye Lewis Lee went to her eternal rest on Friday, November 17, 2023. Alzheimer’s is a cruel disease. We find comfort in knowing her mind is finally at peace, and she is reunited with her beloved husband and sons.
She is survived by daughter, Karen Lee Sibley; son-in-law, Farrell Sibley; daughter, Lisa Marie Lee; granddaughters, Kaylin Nicole Sibley, Kelci Rae Sibley; grandson, Sebastian Paul Manasco; great-granddaughter, Ila Manasco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Emery “Bobby” Lee; sons, Robert Emery Lee Jr. and Kevin Wayne Lee; grandson, Kevin Robert Temple; parents, Robert W. Lewis Sr. and Lucille Tregre Lewis; and brothers, Robert W. Lewis Sr and John G. Lewis.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to her niece, Stacey Oxley, for the loving care she gave our mother. We are beyond blessed to have her stand beside us during our losses over the past 2 years. We also want to thank the rest of our loving family who has supported us through the difficult losses. Lastly, we would like to thank professional caregivers, Wondia Varnado and Latrice Landy for the loving care they provided in Lelia’s final month.
Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception in Denham Springs on Friday, December 1st from 10:00am to 11:30am with mass immediately following.

I was planning on going to the service today, but I have a terrible cold & I can’t see to drive, so I will leave my condolences here.
Margaret, Kaye & I left St. Anthony & went to Redemptorist in our junior year. Margaret & I went back to St. Anthony, but your grandmother wouldn’t let your mom go back. We were the three amigoes all through school from 1st grade. After our junior year I don’t remember hearing from your mom again.
I am so sorry for your loss, but like my sister who passed in 2006, she’s in a better place & with our mom & dad. Your mom is finally with your dad & her boys. 🙏🙏🙏 for all your family.
