Constance Bennett

February 7, 1950 – December 14, 2023

Constance Mae Bennett, born February 7, 1950 in Plaquemine, Louisiana, and a lifelong resident of Denham Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday December 14th, 2023, at the age of 73.  She retired from Northrop Grumman in 2000, as an engineering designer and currently worked for Stine Lumber Company.  She enjoyed playing music, bowling, and motorcycle-riding.

She is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Franklin Bennett, Sr., her mother Ellie B. Sauerwin, her step-father, Floyd Farrell Alford, her brother, Benjamin F. Bennett, Jr., her grandson, Kevin Bryan King, Jr.,  her nephew, Sutton Bruns, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Jeanne Walker Carrier, and husband Jude Carrier, her daughter, Sharon Danelle Walker Madden and fiancée Gary Vicknair, Jr., her granddaughters, Kathryn Elizabeth King, and Ashley Dean King LaChance and husband Leo LaChance, her grandsons, Christopher Donald Madden and Chase Andrew Madden, her great granddaughter, Baylee Elizabeth Madden, and her great grandson, Lucas Elias LaChance, her brother, Eric Nathan Alford and wife, Maurie Alford, her brother Charles Aaron Alford, her nieces and nephews, Jeanean Michelle Johnson Bowlin, Trampus Shane Johnson, Shelby Nicole Alford, and Ericka Raevyn Alford, along with numerous great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

 

Visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 1:00 p.m. and internment immediately following at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
