Mrs. Jonnie was such a wonderful person. Her dedication as a board member to the Council on Aging was always thoughtful and counted on. She always had the seniors in her best interest. We will miss her her and will always remember her and her contributions to the community.

My heart is sadden I will miss our conversations and following her travels. She was a faithful member to the local MOAA (ladies) group than to recent years with the men. Military Officers Army A lovely lady, soft spoken and always in fashion. Last month we shopped for the LSU jacket she wore at a family gathering, Amazing spirit.

Ms. Jonnie’s participation in the celebration of the American Bicentennial in 1976 is fondly remembered. Her commitment to preserving the history of Port Vincent and Livingston Parish continued after the Bicentennial and will be a lasting memorial to her.

I have done Mrs Jonnie’s hair for several years and hold her near to my heart. Saturday mornings will not be same. She will be missed by everyone in the salon. I am praying for the family during this difficult time.
