Rex Joseph Normand passed away peacefully at the Carpenter House on December 19, 2023 at the age of 71. He was a native of Baton Rouge and resident of Denham Springs. He enjoyed fishing, camping, LSU sports and family cookouts.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara Clement. Together they had three sons Chad(April), Corey(Kristi) and Clay(Laura), six grandchildren Theresa Hull, Clint Normand, Meagan Normand, Alisa Normand, Cassidy Normand and Piper Normand and a great grandson Henry Hull. He is also survived by his brother Russell(Beverly) and brother-in-law Earl Dyess and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Leroy Normand, mother Ruby Daigle, sister, Betty Dyess, and brother Gerard Normand. A visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs on Friday December 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM until service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
