Ernest Eugene Meadors, Jr.

September 25, 1941 ~ December 25, 2023

He was born September 25, 1941, in Chamberlain, Louisiana. Ernest passed away at the age of 82 peacefully on December 25, 2023, after a long-time battle with dementia. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, on Friday, December 29 from 10 am until funeral services at Noon, conducted by Dane Blankenship.

Ernest graduated from DSHS along with his wife of 62 years, Mary Friedman Meadors. They raised their 3 sons in their hometown of Denham Springs. He was a pipefitter, plumber, and welder by trade. He loved hunting and fishing and shared that love for going to the camp and sportsmanship with his boys.

He is survived by his wife Mary Friedman Meadors, sons and daughters-in-law: Ernie (Tracy), Ronnie (Jen), Bradd (Trish); grandchildren: Melissa (Casey) Belgard, Kayla Meadors, Alysha (Ethan) Collins, Jenna (Zach) Oliver, McKenna and Ayden Meadors, Dalton and Denver (Skye) Goudeau and great grandchildren; brother: George, sisters: Sandy and Marla; numerous brothers and sisters in law.

Preceded in death by his parents Ernest Meadors Sr and Mattie Burks Meadors, Brothers: Bubbie and Doug Meadors; Father and Mother-In Law: John and Jennie Friedman; Great Grandaughter: Maisy Belgard.
