LT COL Wesley “Wes” William Forman, Jr

May 25, 1946 – January 8, 2024

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend went to his eternal home on Monday, January 8, 2024. He was 77 years old. Wes was an Eagle Scout, Scout Master and proudly served his country in the U.S. Airforce and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, after 21 years of faithful service. Following his retirement from the U.S. Airforce, he retired from Fedex as a Pilot after 13 years of faithful service. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 54 years, Jane Henley Forman; daughter, Jill Forman Panzer and husband Michael; son, Michael Brady Forman and wife Shannon; three grandchildren, Brinley Forman, Brock Forman, Ashtyn Panzer; sister, Beth Morgan and husband Tommie two nephews, David and Daniel Morgan and many friends and relatives. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Memorial Service will be held at Blackwater United Methodist Church, in Baker on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 10am until Celebration of Life Service at 11, conducted by Rev. Kennon Pickett. He will be laid to rest at Louisiana National Cemetery, in Zachary following the services. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Forman Sr. and Victoria Long Forman.
