Allan Neal Cheuvront

April 5, 1947 ~ January 30, 2024

Allan Neal Cheuvront passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the age of 76. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on April 5, 1947. He spent 23 years in the Army Police and retired as a Major from the US Army. He is survived by wife of 27 years Karen Luke Cheuvront, daughters, Christa Traywick and husband Ricky, Lauren Margolis and husband Alex, Meghan Tait and husband Kevin, grandchildren, Alexis Westerhausen, Jackson Holcomb, Winter and Violet Margolis, and Amelia Tait and Riley Tait. He is also survived by his sisters, Juanita Chatham and Ellen Nicholson, aunt and uncle, John and JoAnne Neal, niece, Shelly Howard, and nephew, Dana Chamblee. Allan was preceded in death by his parents, Allan Gagnon and Nancy Cheuvront, son Jason Cheuvront and brother James “Kirby” Cheuvront. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Monday, February 5, 2024 beginning at 1 PM. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM. Military honors will follow immediately after. He was a member of the Disabled Vets, Paralyzed Vets, Red Cross and the Cajun Car club. He was very interested in buying cars, collecting and selling old cars, motorcycle riding, NASCAR racing, football and he loved to study history. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the Cancer Society, Disabled or Paralyzed Veterans, or any organization of your choosing.
