Birdie Lou Wilson

Birdie Lou[Little Ike], 84, a loving mother, passed away at her home on January 19, 2024. She was a native of Baton Rouge, born August 2, 1939, born the 9th of 12 children.  She retired from Baton Rouge City Parish.
She is survived by her Children: Aric Wilson, Craig Wilson, Brenda Wilson and Bonnie Wilkins.  Beloved grandchildren: Cody Prewitt; Tessa Aspey, Aiden and Julia Wilson; Tyler Zizzi; Cullen, Conner and Carleigh Wilson.  Great-grandchildren: Kaylin Smith; Bella, Owen, and Harrison Aspey.  Siblings: Sandra Zachary, Darlene Tolar, and John Pearson Sr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clem and Vivian Pearson; and her siblings, Lavenia Caston, Margaret Stevenson, Patsy Ford, Joyce Thompson, Norma Jean Ortlieb, twin sister Fabien Daigle[Big Ike], Clem Pearson Jr. and Charles Pearson.
Birdie was known for her laughter and for never meeting a stranger.  She had a passion for making delicious meals, working in the yard and fishing. She treasured spending time with friends and family [especially her grandchildren]. Our mother will be deeply missed… as we look forward to seeing her again, made whole, ‘in the twinkling of an eye”, at the 2nd Coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
