Edward Earl Evans

Edward Earl Evans, born in Independence, Louisiana and resident of Possum Grape, Arkansas passed away February 11, 2024 at the age of 78.

He was born on January 3, 1946 to Nancy and Jim Sanders. Edward loved music and would surround himself with songs no matter what he was doing. He was a nature lover and being surrounded by trees and a sunset is where he was most happy. Edward had many talents, but he was an especially skilled handy-man and could fix just about any appliance that was brought to him. He was kind, loving, and will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughters Angela Geddie and Michelle Milin, brothers Butch Evans and Bo Sanders, sisters Lois Closen, Marie Coniglio, and Fran Coniglio, as well as 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Jim and Nancy Sanders, his wife Linda Baker, 3 brothers; James Evans, Kenneth Sanders and John Ray, one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

Visitation will take place Monday February 19, 2024 at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM with service at 11:30 AM and burial to follow in Salem Cemetery.
