Matthew Vincent Roberts

Matthew Vincent Roberts, 33, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at his home in Greenwell Springs, LA.

Matt was a graduate of Denham Springs High School. To him, fishing was life and he loved that life. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Ken Roberts and Suzan McCaskill Gould; sisters, Brittany Kenney, Bridgette Sutton, and Destiny DeMars; brother, JT Gould; nieces, Kenzie Koczrowski, Kennedy Busby, Emma Carter, and Delilah DeMars; nephews, Tucker Koczrowski, Nolan Carter, and Julien DeMars; grandparents, Suzan (Granny) McCaskill, and Bill (pop pop) McCaskill; as well as numerous friends and co-workers who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick Roberts; grandfather, Robert Lange; grandfather, Jerry Roberts, Sr.; grandmother, Linda Lange; uncle JC Roberts; aunt, Lynn Robets; brother-in-law, Adam Koczrowski; “uncle” Billy; dear friend, Brandon Grubbs; and beloved fiancé, Whitney Cotton.

Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, Wednesday, February 28, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at The Rock Church, 20810 Plank Road, Zachary, LA, Thursday, February 29, from 10 a.m. until celebration of Life at 12 p.m. Please share your condolences at .
