David “Paul” Jones

David “Paul” Jones passed away at the age of 59 on February 17^th, 2024, with his son Marcus by his side. He was born on April 21^st, 1964 in Centerville, Mississippi to Marcus and Gwendolyn Jones and was raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a loving son, father and brother who had many talents and if he didn’t know something he was going to learn. Throughout his life he had many jobs which molded the man he became and helped him teach his children the importance of hard work and dedication. He loved hunting, fishing, anything outdoors and most of all his family. Paul is proceeded in death by his father Marcus Owens Jones and his mother Gwendolyn Bostwick Jones. He is survived by his son Marcus Paul Jones; his two stepchildren Patrick Duncan and Amanda Duncan; Brothers, Mark Jones and Marcus “Steve” Jones; Sisters, Shannon Jones Martin and Susan Jones Day as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. A memorial service will be held at Blackwater Methodist Church located at 10000 Blackwater Rd. Baker, Louisiana 70714, on Saturday March 16^th at 10:00 a.m.
