Lori Harris Smith

Lori Harris Smith, 56, a lifelong resident of Denham Springspassed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024, at 10:23 AM surrounded by her family. She was born January 3rd, 1968, to Barbara and Donald Harris in Baton Rouge. She graduated from Denham Springs High School in 1986 and was a member of Gray’s Creek Baptist Church. She worked for a time at State National Life before joining the company of B&D Heating and Air. After marrying her husband Michael (Snoopy) Smith, she joined him in the world of construction, where she made many wonderful friends and memories. During this time, she held many different titles and positions from Fire Watch to Tool Room Helper. Some of her favorite pass times were fishing, reading, and spending time with her many furry companions throughout the years. She was a loving wife and mother. Lori is survived by her children, Cole and Kaleigh Turner, as well as their father and stepmother Keith and Tina Turner, stepson Randall Smith and fiancé Macy McManus, and his children Blayke, Sawyer, Lundyn, and Laynie. She is also survived by her sister Lisa Baker (Heath), and nephews Ethan, Caleb, and Cade Baker. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Barbara Harris, maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as her loving husband of 19 years, Michael Smith. The Pallbearers will be Cole Turner, Ethan Baker, Caleb Baker, Cade Baker, Matthew Clayton, and Brant Clayton Honorary pallbearers are Keith Turner and Heath Baker. Services will be held Saturday, May 11th from 9:00 to 11:00 with services to follow at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs. Burial will be held at Felder’s Cemetary in Denham Springs after the service.
