Annie Ruth Strange

May 7, 1948 – May 10, 2024

On Friday, May 10, 2024 at the age of 76, Annie went into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family. Annie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She was a Jesus loving, determined, strong and caring person who imprinted the lives of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 10:00 AM until religious services at 12:00 PM conducted by Pastor Buck Hughes. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge. She is survived by son, Wesley “Kent” Miller, Jr., wife Tammy; sister; Hilda “Faye” Bratcher, husband James; grandchildren, Kimberly VanDinther, husband Alex; Kayla Hoy, husband Steven; Justin Miller, wife Hunter-Lynne; and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther “Buddy” Strange; parents, Rufus William and Rayvernette Moran Alexander; daughter Shara Kaye Miller; son Jerry Dwayne Miller; and brother James Ray Alexander. Pallbearers will be Kent Miller, Justin Miller, Alex VanDinther, Steven Hoy, Nikolas Gonthier and Braylin VanDinther. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Gonthier, Carter VanDinther, Daxton VanDinther, Tanner Hoy and Bryson Miller. She was a member of River Oaks Baptist Church in Baton Rouge.
