Lisa Bickham Leffel, 69, passed away peacefully at her home in Baton Rouge, Friday, May 17, 2024. Lisa is survived by the love of her life for 51 years, Rick Leffel; daughters, Danielle Leffel (Gary) and Shanna Patterson (Wade); grandchildren, Alexis, Kaleb, Aidan, Victoria, Gabrielle, and Emma; her best friend that was as a sister, Kathy Minor; as well as many friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Ann Melancon; parents, Francis Bickham and Leatrice Adams; and in laws, Gordon Sr and Agnes L. Leffel.
She worked for many years as a paralegal at various law firms and other dignitaries including the Attorney General. Lisa was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and her children and grandchildren were her true joy. She will be missed dearly by all those whose lives she touched.
The family will hold a celebration of her life at the Leffel home, Saturday, June 1, at 1 p.m. A special thank you to the staff at Sage Outpatient physical therapy for their care in her recovery of her surgeries. Please share your condolences at .
