Karen Ann Zachary Bello

July 12, 1964 ~ May 22, 2024

Karen Bello, 59, of Denham Springs, LA passed away on May 22^nd after a valiant battle with Leukemia. Born on July 12^th, 1964, to Harry and Ethel Zachary in Baton Rouge, LA.  Karen is a graduate of Glen Oak High School in 1983. At the age of 19, she started her career with Blue Cross Blue Shield of LA.  For 39 years, she excelled in her career and climbed the corporate ladder to reach the title of Account Manager.  December 31^st, 2023, she retired from BCBS and embarked on a new journey in life with her loving husband by her side.

On March 20, 1988, Karen married her soulmate, Ron, in Thomas, Louisiana. They dedicated 36 years to each other. Together, they welcomed two boys into this world, Cody and Blake. She was a devoted mother and wife.  She was selfless and made sure that her family was well taken care of.  Her Children and grandchildren were her greatest achievement in life. Karen was a one-of-a-kind woman. She loved her family, friends, going to the beach, cooking for loved ones, fishing and spending time with her best friend, Cookie.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Zachary and father Harry Zachary. Karen leaves behind a legacy through her husband Ron Bello, Cody Bello (son) and wife Whitney Bello, Blake Bello(son) and wife Ashley Bello and her 6 grandchildren: Aubrey Bello, Corbyn Bello, Harlyn Bello, Brynlee Bello, Presley Bello and Bryce Bello. Her sister Debbie Coco and husband Blaine Coco. Nieces, Heather Porche and Alaine Boudreaux.

Her services will be held May 25, 2023, at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs, LA. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 2PM and service will follow at 2PM.
