Marcella Rose Koster Corrick, age 94, passed away on June 12, 2024, six days shy of her 95th birthday. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy and spent her time as a loving homemaker. Marcella was a member of St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church for 70 years, serving on the Ladies Altar Society, Religious Articles, and as a Catechism Teacher and RCIA Sponsor, and the Council on Aging. Marcella enjoyed playing Bridge, Dominoes, Volunteering, and she was active in all aspects of her church. She was a very involved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Marcella is survived by her daughters, Cherryl Alford (Jimmy), Lisa Jones (David); sons, Mark Corrick (Beverly), Scott Corrick; grandchildren, Megan Jones, Derrick Jones, Amber Bermudez (Danel), Lindsey McClure (Thomas), Chad Alford (Andrea), Wesley Corrick, Melissa Cain (Chris), Victoria Corrick, Tracie Nutt (Kevin), Jason Corrick (Lacy); great-grandchildren, Sebastian Bermudez, Emily, Lane, Carly McClure, Andrew, Eddie Alford, Sarah Corrick, Olivia Nutt, Keegan, Kohen Corrick; brothers, David Koster (Dee), Roy Koster; sister-in-law, Margaret Koster; numerous nieces and nephews.
Marcella is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Wesley Ray Corrick; parents, Harry and Rose Koster; brothers, Edward (Judy), Johnny (Adele), Gerald Koster; sisters, Eileen (Frank) Buzek, Lillian (Don) Vincent, Virginia (Bill), Foster; sister-in-law, Sharon Koster; daughter-in-law, Karen Corrick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Alphonsus St. Vincent de Paul in memory of Marcella Corrick.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 with a rosary at 11:00am at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30am at St. Alphonsus. Interment is schedule for 2:45pm at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
