Sherrie Allen Duke

Sherrie Allen Duke passed at the age of 69 on June 13, 2024. She was born in Savannah, Georgia on February 5, 1955 and attended Louisiana State University. Sherrie worked as a surgical posting secretary for CVT Associates in Baton Rouge, and enjoyed spending time with her family, pets, cooking, baking, and reading.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years Kenneth J. Duke, daughter Allison Elizabeth Guthrie, son-in-law Robert Edwin Guthrie, grandchild Willow Elayne Guthrie, sister Barbra O’leary, brother Earl Allen, sister-in-law Elizabeth Allen, nieces Eve Allen, Jackie Harrell, Tanya Crawford, Danica Barber, nephews Adam Allen, Brandon Harper, Kash Wilson, and Chance Wilson.

She is preceded in death by her parents Otto Allen and Annetta Allen, brothers Grady Allen, Charles Allen, and Samuel Allen, mother-in-law and father-in-law Zoe Duke and John F. Duke, and brother-in-law John Duke.
