Dwight E. Brecheen, Jr. passed at the age of 64 on June 6, 2024. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on September 18, 1959 and was a long-time resident of Zachary. He graduated from Glen Oaks High and was the retired District Chief of the Baton Rouge Fire Department after serving for 28 years. He was a part of the NRA and BRFO organizations and enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, rifle building, bee keeping, and being an all-around craftsman.
He is survived by mother Shirley P. Brecheen, sons David Brecheen, Derrick Brecheen, and Dylan Brecheen, grand-children Austin, Rachael, Hailey, and Chloe, sisters Nora Brecheen McDaniel and Linda Knox, niece Courtney Nealy, and family Fred Brecheen (Bud) and Jerry Cockerham.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Fred L. Brecheen and Florence Brecheen, and father Dwight E. Brecheen, Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs with visitation from 2 to 4 PM and a service starting at 4 PM.

My heart goes out to Derek and Dylan I knew your dad for a very long time I even lived there and when y’all where little I even babysit y’all I was just on the phone not too long before you daddy passed. I’m gonna miss him too. I’m a keep you in my prayers.

My Heart goes out to Dylan & Derrick his sons I knew. The many many road trip on our Harleys that I will NEVER forget. The times I would visit the Fire Station and watch you cook, omg and we would sgine up the bike there as well. The memories go on and on.
You will be missed. ❤️🙏❤️
