John was a great man. I met him bringing in evidence to the DPS Crime Lab. Got to know him and then Patty. Just the sweetest most caring man I know and two of the most awesome clowns ever!! There is so much I could say about John. But I’ll just leave it with I’m glad you, Patty and your dad are together again minus all pain! Love you John Krodel! Until we meet in Heaven!

Johnny started life as a sweet kid. He was one of my younger cousins. It’s so sad that out of 8 grandchildren my grandparents had, only 2 of us remain. All the boys have passed away. Johnny’s older sister, Barbara and I are the only ones left and it’s sad. Our Uncle Floyd is the last of his generation! We were a big family and with the loss of Johnny it’s 3. We’ve always had an awesome family and we still are. John and Patty, RIP and give our live to the rest of our family!!

John and Patty were family to me and my wife. I’ve worked for the Seale family in their family owned funeral home in Denham Springs, Louisiana. I’m so sorry for your loss. Patty died about a week before John. Now they are in Heaven together hopefully as clowns brightening Heavens Gates. They were so Happy together. We will miss them dearly. Every time they had a family function at their son’s house, Billy Seale, my wife and I were always invited. That meant so much to us. God has already given them both peace and the ultimate healing. May God be with his family. I am addressing them both because of the love they shared and died so closely together.

I worked with John @ Rockwall PD for many years
He always had a quick, colorful answer to any question presented to him. He was fun & jovial all of the time. I was able to meet and see his wife Patty on a few occasions & she was always so very sweet & kind.
I know that John, Patty & John’s dad are once again reunited in heaven and no longer in pain or suffering from health issues.
I will miss seeing John’s fb posts and keeping up with he and Patty & their adventures and honorable Shriners work & especially seeing their photos of their clown days ♥️
He and Patty were truly each other’s best friends and that is an absolute treasure to have in each other.
Continued prayers for their families for comfort & healing ♥️

Jeanne and I followed John for many years. Met John through Harley Davidson of Dallas where we rode many a mile. Then went on to become a Mason and a Shriner as did John. John was like my brother that I never had. We had so many adventures together: hog rallies in Texas and Arkansas, Sturgis SD, Key West FL, Bahamas, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Texas Shriner Association conventions and Shriners Hospital in Galveston. Sending prayers to the family of both Patty and John’s for your loss.
