Geraldine Frances Gautreau Rogers, born in Gonzales and a resident of Walker, succumbed to her battle with Alzheimer’s on July 7, 2024 at the age of 78. Geraldine was a loving mother and wife as well as a devoted Catholic. She served her church proudly as a eucharistic minister for many years. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband Eugene E Rogers, Jr., her children, Eric Rogers (Gina), Janean Durbin (Eric Wayne) and Joey Rogers; Grandchildren, Brennon, Callie, Evan and Ella; Brothers, Curtis Gautreau (Mary) and Keith Gautreau (Colleen), as well as several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Frances Gautreau. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and a special thanks to the loving staff at Fidelis Residential Care in Denham Springs. Visitation will take place at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 5:30 PM-7:30PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, with funeral mass starting at 11:00 AM, and burial to follow in Vickers Cemetery.

Deepest condolences for the loss of a wonderful person. Mrs. Geri was a beautiful soul who will be dearly missed. She now has all of her memories and Alzheimer’s can no longer take them away from her. Prayers and thoughts are will all of you.
