George Daniel Milligan, born in Baton Rouge and a resident of Denham Springs passed away July 24, 2024 at the age of 68. George had a very rewarding life with many hobbies. He was a singer, a bass
player and the best story teller. He had a passion for singing and listening to Elvis. He collected and knew all things Elvis and was his impersonator at one point in life. He enjoyed watching old movies but his
favorite were the ones in the Horror and Sci-fi genre. He loved being outdoors and you could often find him flying his huge remote-controlled helicopter. He loved his family and never missed a chance to
spend time with them. Each time his family was near they were all eager to hear one of the many stories he loved to tell. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his
loving wife Carmelite Milligan, his father Natt N Milligan, his children; Lee Daniel Milligan (Bella), Monique L Sanchez (Craig), Nicole S Whitfield. Grandchildren; Kaitlyn Schexnayder (Lance), Lauren Godso, Christian and Ryleigh Schmitt, Charles W Whitfield, Jr., Cyrus and Mase Milligan. Great-grandchildren; Bentley, Aubree, Ellie and Lane. Brothers; Joe, Gary, Tommy (Maria), Natt Milligan Jr., brother-in-law Morgan D Landry, as well as his sister JoAnn McAndrew. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Lee Crawford, sister-in-law Priscilla
Milligan and brother-in-law Raleigh P Landry, Jr. The family would like to thank Dr. Emily Cassidy, Dr. April McCulloh, Dr. Abdulla Majid-Moosa and all of their staff for their kindness and loving care. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family.

    Sorry to hear of the loss of George. I know he will be deeply missed by all. He sounded like quite the character. Hold tight to your memories of him.

    Such a wonderful smile . I knew George thru family and if you were family you knew it. I pray for Carma to fill her days with memories and the love George left with her and family.

    George was always so kind to Frankie and I. There was never a time when he wasn’t smiling and always made you feel as though he was very happy to see whoever he encountered. May he rest in peace and watch over his family and be their protector.
