Clint Matthew Ford
Clint Matthew Ford, born on June 19, 1977, in Independence, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 13, at the age of 47. Surrounded by his loving family after a fierce race against cancer, Clint crossed the finish line and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family and community and memories that will fuel us for years to come.
He is survived by his wife Amber, who he shared more than 25 years of deep love and companionship with, and their three cherished children: Hailey Rhiannon, Ethan Patrick, and Zoey Delayna.
Also survived by his parents, beloved father, Joe Starkey and mother, Twila, and Mike and Carolyn Ford; brother, Brian Ford, and his wife, Belinda and, along with their children Brilee and Skyler, and Shelby and her children; Caysen, Raysen, Sadie, and Sophia; loving mother-in-law, Candace Vincent; sister-in-law, Lillian ‘Liz’ Daniels; brother-in-law, Wade Daniels and his children, Jacob and Mattie Daniels with their son Owen; Nathan and Deanna Daniels with their daughter Wrenlee; and Emily Pupo and her husband Anthony; stepsister, Heather Taylor, and her children Paige, Natalie, and Nathan; stepbrother, Ron Starkey and son Landon.
Clint was deeply loved by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, many who were more like family, who will forever hold him in their hearts.
His family was the heart of his world, and he filled their lives with warmth, laughter, and countless unforgettable memories.
Clint is preceded in death by his cousin, Erin Saxton, his grandparents Max and Eula Saxton, Delbert and Myrl ‘Kewpie’ Ford, his father-in-law Gary Daniels, and his beloved family dog, Chester.
He had a passion for many things: NASCAR, good music, and spending time with his three faithful dogs: Daisy, Poppy, and Squirt. When he wasn’t working as a dedicated wholesale automotive parts salesman or reminiscing about his days proudly serving as a firefighter with District 4, you could find him enjoying the simple pleasures of life with his family by his side.
A memorial service to honor Clint’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, at Live Oak Church located at 34890 Louisiana Hwy 16, Denham Springs, LA 70706.
Visitation will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 followed by a memorial service at 11:30.
