There are no words to adequately express my deepest sense of loss learning about Janiths passing. We were neighbors and she was by far the best friend I had. After growing up and moving out of state, she was often remembered lovingly. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Nedra as her heart must be broken, along with Mike and Brian. They were such a close family. Janith was such a kind, unselfish, no nonsense girl that celebrated who she was so proudly. Memories of her practicing cheer dances still bring a smile. She eventually coming home as Homecoming Queen and glowed. God bless you, Janith and thank you for sharing our early years with me. I will always hold you close to my heart. My prayers will continue for Mrs. NEDRA, Mike, and Brian and families as you all navigate through your loss.

This world lost a true angel in human form. Such a sweet presence. The epitome of southern hospitality. A fabulous cook. An incredible friend. I praise God for the memories. I praise God for not letting her suffer. She beat this awful disease twice already, but not this time. Oh, how my heart hurts. These waves just keep coming.
I take comfort in knowing #oneday my Lovie, I will see you again. And if your brothers are gracious enough to pass along your recipe books, I promise you, Janith M my beautiful Friend, I will do my very best to carry on your gift and talents for hospitality. Your legacy will continue.
Rest well, my beloved. You don’t have to battle any longer. Well done thy good and faithful servant.

She will always be a Diva, in the Chapeau Rouge Divas Redhat chapter.
Her joy for living, and hostessing Redhat soirées was a pleasure to see. She welcomed us into her home to celebrate!!!! She would display her Halloween decorations and prepare delicious party food, and give us special treats!!
She brought a zest for life to all of our soiree’s!!!
We will miss Lady Adventure Janith Miller in the Chapeau Rouge Divas!!!!
Gone, but never forgotten!!!
Your Queen

She is already missed by her many friends in Fort Wayne, IN. I worked with her when I was a teenager at what was then the Louisiana State Department of Health and Human Resources which later changed to DHH where she retired in 2013. In our early years, I met her friends from Ferriday, Louisiana where she was a cheerleader and tennis player in high school. Throughout the decades her humor and kindness turned acquaintances into friends. I will miss her advice, hugs and laugh!
