Kenny Ricaud

Kenny Josh Ricaud passed away at the age of 39 on September 6, 2024 at his home in Broussard. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 21, 1984 to his parents Kenneth Joseph Ricaud and Marilyn McCray Hennesy. He attended Baton Rouge Community College and worked as a 12B10 Combat Engineer as part of Unit 1088 Engineer Battalion Co B FC.
Kenny served in the United States Army National Guard for 12 years and was a recipient of many awards and medals, including: National Defense SVC Medal, USA SVC RBN, Armed FCS Res Medal WIM Dev, Global War on Terr SVC Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, UA Wav Cross Ribbon, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He was also a member of the Combat Vets Association, known around as “Ghost.” Kenny enjoyed spending time riding his Harley, gaming, and quality time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his sons Davin Paul Ricaud and Nehemiah Elijah Gabriel Rhodes, father Kenneth Ricaud, sisters Mary Ricaud LeBlanc, Cora Chenevert (Travis), Tara Ricaud-Gaudin (Quentin), Bailey Hennesy (Sam), and estranged sister Lacy Sims, step-brother Tommy Hennesy, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Hennesy, brother Jean Andreas Ricaud, step-father Rickey Hennesy, grandmother Cora Mae Warren, grandfather Roy McCray Sr., grandmother Mary Joyce Ricaud, grandfather Malcom Ricaud, and godmother Irma Dufour.
Pallbearers will be Kane Bernard, Drake Bernard, Dylan McCray, Mason Ford, Quentin Gaudin, Nehemiah Rhodes, and Terrance Jackson.
There will be a visitation held at Seale Funeral Home in Denham Springs on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 12pm to 3pm with a funeral service held at 3pm. Burial will follow at Beechridge Cemetery.
