Gregory Wayne Gobert, 68, of Watson Louisiana passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 16, 1956 in Lafayette, Louisiana the son of the late Clarence Gobert and Helen Hebert Gobert Coulter. He graduated from Istrouma High in Baton Rouge. On April 17, 1979 he married Linda Willis Gobert. Together they raised a beautiful family. They had four sons and one daughter. Mark, Blake (Holly), JD (Katy), Dustin (Rachael) and Kristina Anderson (Joshua). They were blessed with thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They were blessed and honored to take care of their two grandchildren Michael and Trinity Gobert for fourteen years. He retired from Sid Richardson Carbon Black. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, and LSU sports. In later years he enjoyed making knives, smokers, and wood signs for friends and family. He was a hard worker, wonderful provider, lover of sports and passed it on to his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two sisters Wanda Adreon and Rita Tolleson. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Gobert, stepfather Dave Coulter, father-in-law Clyde Willis, mother-in-law Lurline Willis, half-sister Joy McCarthey, and sister-in-law Ione Healy. Visitation will be Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5-9 pm at Seale Funeral Home Denham Springs La. Services will be held at Fundamental Baptist Church 24240 S. Frost Rd. Livingston, LA. September 14, 2024 with visitation starting at 10 am until service at 11 am.
