February 20th, 1984 – September 12th, 2024
On the interstate right now looking at the sunset, got me thinking about where I was and where I’m going, I go through daily struggles and battle’s that I don’t think anyone even knows about but for whatever reason something inside me strives to be a better man. I’ve gotten older and wiser all praise be to “whoever looks out for us.” I’m very thankful for the people that are in my life, shout out to each and every one of y’all ( you know who you are) -Chase McNemar
On Thursday, September 12th, 2024 Chase Aaron McNemar, age 40, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana left this earthly realm to be at peace with Jesus in the heavenly realms above. Chase had a way of turning the darkest moments in life into moments of laughter. He had a way about him that would make him infectious to be around. He was never afraid to be himself and he did it unapologetically. His passions were writing scribbles on every piece of paper he could find and then rapping them to a beat he felt suited it. He also loved the drums and at a young age he would tap on any surface he could find. Eventually, that would lead to him playing the drums at church and traveling with his father to play in a Christian band. Chase also loved his family and his children. That was at the heart of most things he would write about in the hours the world was sleeping. Chase will be missed by so many that loved him, and his legacy will be carried on by Mia Nicole Chapman, Dayton Lee McNemar, Laila Marie McNemar and Cameron Cash McNemar. Rest easy Chase, wait for us, we’ll see you soon. Love Mom, Dad & Dara. (I love you Slap)

Dear Daryl, Tanga, and Dara,
I just don’t have any words that can express the sorrow you are feeling and everyone who loved Chase. I am truly sorry. May God carry you during this most difficult time 🙏
