He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Jesse and Josie Mae Jones Robinson, and John Samuel Robinson.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 17, from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m.
Jesse was LARGER than life. Truly one-of-a-kind! No one else like him. You could talk to him about science, politics, history, or your favorite Jerry Springer episode. He could then turn around and tell you all about the Bible, then always tell you to say your prayers. Jesse’s enthusiasm for life was contagious. His greatest joys were spending time with his family, riding on his Harley or riding the 40, or spending time in the garden with his little mama. Jesse’s presence was always so loud, and his absence is even louder. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. God bless, Amen. HELL YEAH!!

Oh my, it breaks my heart to hear of the world’s loss of Jessie. I remember the 1st time I met Jessie… yes larger than life. I was working at Blackies and he and i formed a friendship from there on… one thing about Jessie that I remember most… you never had to guess what he was thinking… he had no problem letting you know… Jessie, you will be missed by everyone who was blessed to have met you…. RIP my friend!
